Julia Perry MA LMHC  (also known as Julie Perry MA LMHC) offers individual counseling services to:

• Teens/ Young Adults
• Adults

For counseling sessions I offer:  Office sessions, Telehealth, or outdoor walking sessions (rain or shine). 

As both a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Therapist, I offer therapy to help you and your family members with a wide variety of issues such as:

• Depression
• Anxiety
• Climate Change Anxiety
• Life Transitions
• Self-Esteem Issues
• Grief and Loss
• Trauma/ PTSD
• Family Conflict
• Drug & Alcohol Counseling
• Anger Issues 

I also help with issues that may be harder to identify such as: “loss of sense of self”, “feeling stuck”, and “feeling lost”.  I also enjoy working with clients who are looking for a way to add more depth, meaning and spark back into their lives.

Just as each client I meet is unique, therapy is uniquely customized to you.  The techniques and tools we use together will vary based on your needs, wants and style.  My education and experience allows for a practice that is grounded in solid theories and evidenced based practices including but not limited to:

• Sand Tray (for processing deep parts of the self symbolically and creatively)
• EMDR combined with Sand Tray  (EMDR Sand Tray Specialist training from The Agate Institute)

• Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Consultation, Preparation, Harm-Reduction Support, and Integration.

I make it a habit of “checking in” often with clients in order to determine that the approach to therapy is effective in working towards their goals.
